About Gameday Radio

WE BRING THE GAME TO HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS!
The Gameday Radio Network launched in August of 2007 as the state of Virginia's only online radio network. Featuring up to 8 games per week live on Friday nights, the Gameday Radio Network is a one of a kind audio fantasy land for the local sports fan.

STARTING A NEW TREND:
Realizing that there is a small and depleting network of local AM Radio stations that cover one game per week on the airwaves, the Gameday Radio Network was developed so high school sporting events could be broadcast across a wider platform, and on a more frequent basis. Gameday Radio partners with local high school programs by setting up broadcast teams for their teams, then covering them the entire season at home and away games. We started with 7 programs in 2007, and will expand to 11 in 2008 that will be featured each week on the Gameday Radio Network. Listening to live games online has become every bit as popular as listening on tradition radio, if not more.

PLAY BY PLAY CONTENT:
The Gameday Radio Network will broadcast up to 11 games each week this fall online at GamedayMagazine.com, 6 games per week in the winter, and 6 games per week in the spring. Gameday's Award Winning Broadcasters will bring the action live to the desktop for those who cannot make the game, and on-demand to those who were at the game. Games are archived for on-demand listening indefinitely so that local sports fans can re-live the action all year long.

SPORTS TALK CONTENT:
The Gameday Radio Network features several one of a kind local sports shows for the every day fan. Gameday All Access is the feature show hosted by Andy Hayes, Bruce Bornarth, and Tom Whipple. Gameday All Access focuses in on the area's biggest games, top performances, and interviews
with the best coaches and players in the region.

In addition, the Gameday Radio Network also produces shows such as "The Blue Chip Report" that features recruiting news and information on our area athletes, "Gameday All Access Primetime" which breaks down each football game in the region on Thursday nights, and "Monday Morning Quarterback" which looks back at the area's scores and games from the previous Friday night. Gameday Radio is also home to 8 coaches shows from the various programs that are covered on a weekly basis on the network.....
