Training Camp Tour: Broad Run Spartans
The two-time state champion Broad Run Spartans are back and hungry for a 3rd ring as they prepare for the 2010 season. Broad Run has a 28 game winning streak entering this fall.

ASHBURN, VA - They've won 28 straight games and back to back state championships in Division 4, but the 2010 season has brought a level of uncertainty for Broad Run football. A new head coach, new offensive and defensive schemes, and a new group of players all have people wondering whether the magic can continue in Ashburn this fall.
Matt Griffis takes the keys to the proverbial ship and plans to add plenty of new bells and whistles, but he also insists many things will stay the same. What he hopes will stay the same is the high level of passion the Spartans have played with over the past few years.
"Our goals are district championships, regional championships, and state championships," said Griffis. "That isn't going to change because we have a new coach at Broad Run."
