BRAMBLETON, VA - There are few people in the region looking forward to the 2010 football season more than Briar Woods head coach Charlie Pierce. Last season was one of the most difficult he has had to endure in his coaching career. After dropping 6 of the first 7 games to open the season, the Falcons rallied and almost snuck into the playoff picture.
"It was a tough year for what I consider we should do," said Pierce. "We were 4-6, and at the end of the year, I made a point to our rising seniors that our 2010 season will be dictated by how we do at the beginning of the year."
