Stone Bridge's Rob Burns Commits to UVA
As just learned tonight, Stone Bridge's Rob Burns has committed to the University of Virginia.
The 6-foot-7 225-pound defensive end prospect committed to UVA over offers from Boston College, Duke, Stanford, Wake Forest, Syracuse, Rutgers, Penn State and Maryland.
Racking up 56 tackles and a team-best eight sacks, Burns went on to capture second-team all-region and first-team all-district honors as a junior last year.
This is head coach Mickey Thompson's first commitment of the year with other prospects Spenser Rositano, Brian Rody, Marcus Harris and Kyle Gouveia also receiving plenty of college interest.
