Northern Region Lax: At a Crossroad
Loudoun Valley has plenty to celebrate in recent days. In advancing to the state championship out of the Northwest Region, they've done what was once thought inconceivable four years ago.

Lacrosse is changing, everyone knows that. States like Idaho, Alaska, Oklahoma and Kentucky are even picking up the game. Listen into a lacrosse game and I can guarantee you you'll get at least one mention of the "incredible growth of the game." It's ESPN's favorite line, especially for Quint Kessenich.
But hey, they're right, it is growing. Here in Virginia, schools from places like Lynchburg, Salem and Stafford are now starting to get pretty good. How good? Well, good enough to where they may be changing the landscape of Virginia lacrosse for a very long time.
