Legendary NFL Coach to Speak at Freedom HS
SOUTH RIDING, VA - Sam Wyche, Architect of one the most dramatic turnarounds in NFL history, will speak August 14, at 6 PM in the Freedom High School Auditorium in South Riding, VA.

Wyche is a former Pro Football quarterback for the Washington Redskins and the Cincinnati Bengals. He went on to be the Head Coach of the Bengals where he took the team from a 4 - 11 record to the Super Bowl in one season and became one of the few men to ever play in a Super Bowl and lead a team to the Super Bowl as a head coach. Wyche later became the Head Coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After retiring from coaching Wyche became a television commentator analyst for several weekly NFL shows.
Freedom High School Head Football Coach Mickl Mullins said "We are pleased to have a man of Coach Wyche's stature speak during our Eagle Pride pre-season football activities. We are looking forward to this setting the tone for this season."
