For Gjormand, Vision And Patience Pay Off
Madison's Mark Gjormand is no stranger to success, but the job he and his staff have done this spring to get the 2010 Warhawks ready for the post-season may be their best work yet.

VIENNA, VA - Mark Gjormand has coached state champions, and he's had teams full of big time talent. Few would argue that throughout the past decade, Madison baseball has been as good as any program in the Northern Region.
But I would make the same argument that very few people would have thought the 2010 Warhawks would be on the verge of another state tournament berth.
With a lineup full of youth, and some experienced veterans sprinkled in, Gjormand's club is peaking at the perfect time. The Warhawks put on a terrific performance in Monday's Memorial Day showdown with Centreville, winning 4-2 to advance to the Northern Region Semifinals.
