E.C. Glass Edges Jamestown, 5-4 In Tennis
RADFORD, VA - E.C. Glass defeated Jamestown 5-4 in the group AA Girls State Tennis semifinals Friday afternoon at Radford University as part of the 2010 Spring Jubilee.
Catherine Valentine and Paige Riley of E.C. Glass clinched the match for the Hilltoppers with a come-from-behind win over Whitney Simerlein and Leah Walter of Jamestown 6-7, 6-2, 6-0.
E.C. Glass will face Hidden Valley in tomorrow's group AA Girls Tennis State Championship at 9:00 a.m. Hidden Valley advanced to the finals with a 5-4 victory over John Handley.
