HERNDON, VA - Snow can provide annoyance to anyone's schedule. It becomes a nightmare when it falls at the wrong time.
Herndon rode the rhythm of an 8-game winning streak until Poseidon had other plans. Three game-cancellations later, the 14-2 Hornets came out cold and dropped their first Concorde game of the season in the district semifinals to Oakton.
It was the Hornets' first game in 17 days.
