Lady Raiders Move To 8-2 With Crushing Victory

LEESBURG, VA - Loudoun County jumped out to a 25-7 first quarter lead and cruised from there as they defeated the visiting Dominion Titans by a score of 72-33. County is now 8-2 overall on the year while the Titans fall to 0-11.
For County, junior shooting guard Brittany Batts scored a game high 22 points as she connected on four of five three point field goals. Batts would finish 9-13 from the floor in the contest.
Senior point guard Kendra Holmes would finish in double figures with 12 points. Holmes also tallied 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals.
It was a good night for the Kain girls as they combined to score 16 points. Sophomore Shauna Kain outscored her senior standout sister Alissa 9 to 7. However, Alissa would lead in all other statistical categories as she finished with 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
Sophomores Jenna Strange (6 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals), Erika Linnemann (7 points - 4 steals), and Casey Cummings (5 points - 6 rebounds) played well in the victory.
The Lady Raiders will be back in action on Monday night, 7:30, at home against the Potomac Falls Panthers.
