Churchill Head Coach Matt Miller:

On his thoughts about the game...

"It was a division game that we had to win so from that standpoint it was a positive that we able to find a way to get it done. But we seemed to lack energy and focus at times this evening and that's not something we are going to get away with too often.

So overall I'll take the win but I let the guys know that we can do much better and that we have to do much better if we want to be successful on a regular basis. We were fortunate to win on a night where we didn't have a lot of things clicking for us."

Any other positives...

"One guy that I thought really brought some energy for us this evening was Christian Bonaparte - he got some key steals and deflections and sparked us when we desperately needed someone to make a play."

On Churchill's next opponent (Richard Montgomery)...

"Obviously, they have been playing like one of the better teams in the county so far, so we all know what we're getting Wednesday night. It's another key division game for us and we are going to have play extremely well if we want to be successful."

JV NOTES:
The JV team lost to Walter Johnson JV 49-46. The JV record stands at 1-9.
