Lady Raiders Roll Over Park View 71-22

LEESBURG, VA - In front of many former great Loudoun County High School players, including five from the 2006 team that posted a school best 29-2 record, the Lady Raiders rolled over the visiting Park View Patriots by a score
of 71-22.

County jumped out to a 22-7 first quarter advantage as senior Alissa Kain scored 12 first quarter points. Then, junior Brittany Batts scored 10 second quarter points as County led 47-14 at halftime. Kain and Batts both scored 18 points each in that first half.

Kain would finish with a team high 24 points while Batts scored 21 points and dished out six assists.

Senior Kendra Holmes, playing point guard for the Raiders, finished with seven points, 10 rebounds, and six assists.

All 11 players for County contributed in the win for County as the Lady Raiders improve to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in Dulles District play.

Chloe Owens led the Patriots with eight points.
