Presented By Team Elite Sports and Conditioning
1. Kecoughtan (4-0) - The Warriors keep on rolling behind Peninsula District Player of the Year candidate, Dimitri Batten. Kecoughtan is still the best team in the 757 and looks to remain that way all year. Batten is averaging slightly over 18.5 points per game.
2. Tallwood (4-0) - The Lions look to remain undefeated headed into their game against Maury on the 22nd at the Norfolk Scope. With games against Cox and Kempsville this week, Tallwood should be 6-0 when they face the Commodores.
3. King's Fork (3-1) - Last year's champs had another strong showing early in the season when they took down Hickory by 26 points. The Bulldogs can't look past their game against Nansemond River today, to get to Indian River on the 17th.
4. Indian River (4-0) - Still undefeated and looking to remain that way with a huge matchup against King's Fork on the 17th, the Braves can't overlook Oscar Smith today.
5. Landstown (3-0) - The Eagles, led by Julian Norfleet, look very strong near the top of the Beach District, but will be tested with games against a solid Kellam Knights squad and Princess Anne this week.
6. I.C. Norcom (5-2) - With their only losses coming at the hands of Kecoughtan to start the year and a two point loss to Maury, the Greyhounds won impressive games against King's Fork and the James McAdoo led Norfolk Christian Ambassadors. I.C. Norcom will look to keep that momentum going with games against Booker T. Washington, Lake Taylor and Northeastern in North Carolina coming up this week.
7. Great Bridge (5-0) - Briante Weber hit for 27 points on Friday to beat Deep Creek and the Wildcats look to keep on winning with games against Lakeland, Grassfield and Oscar smith this week.
8. Lake Taylor (2-1) - The Titans survived an early loss to Nansemond River to beat Norview and Churchland last week and face Granby and I.C. Norcom this week.
9. New Kent (4-0) - The Trojans are one of the hottest teams in the 757. They score in bunches and will be a fun team to watch this season.
10. Hampton (4-1) - Freshman, Anthony Barber has had two rough games and the Crabbers lost on Saturday to Churchland for their first loss of the year. This team will still be in the hunt for a championship come late in the season.
