Groh's Departure Could Alter Landscape
Virginia Tech's Bud Foster has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Al Groh. Should Foster get the job, he could alter the recruiting landscape in Virginia quite a bit.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Every Virginia Tech fan should have a bitter sweet feeling right now after hearing the news that the University of Virginia has fired head coach Al Groh. After all, it's been just about a foregone conclusion that the Hokies would beat UVA every year, and then win the recruiting battle later that spring.
Groh was fired after a 3-9 campaign just this week, and his career mark against Virginia Tech plummeted to 1-9. That will do in just about any coach that wears the Orange and Blue.
