ASHBURN, VA - There are impressive streaks to note in the world of sports. UCLA basketball won an incredible 88 straight regular season games from 1971-1974. The Miami Dolphins went undefeated in the 1972 NFL season, and still remain the only team to do so in the history of the league. Then there's the longest winning streak ever in professional sports, and that goes to Jahangir Khan, who won 555 straight games of squash.
Streaks are fun, they give the fans something to cheer about, and the media something to write about.
