Rigans, Hayfield Roll Through Yorktown 34-6
Speedy quarterback Anton McCallum rushes into the endzone here on a 35-yard run which put the Hawks up 20-0 in just the first quarter of play. All 20 points came by way of three forced turnovers by the Hayfield special teams.

SPRINGFIELD, VA -- It's been a long time since Hayfield has won a playoff game. 16 years to be exact, which was a 28-0 triumph over Yorktown back in 1993.
Yet this year has been different for the Hawks. They've turned around their 1-9 mark from last year into an 8-2 record and a National District championship. Not only that, but Hayfield qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2001.
So when up against Yorktown in the playoffs, the Hawks reverted back to that early-90's magic as they won by--you guessed it--28 points as they did 16 years ago.
