WOODBRIDGE, VA - Osbourn Park used stalwart defense and opportunistic offense in pulling off a come-from-behind 19-6 upset of their Cardinal District brethren, previously unbeaten Woodbridge.
The visiting Yellow Jackets took advantage of five Viking turnovers -- four after halftime -- to outscore their hosts 16-0 in the second half to secure the win in the Northwest Region semifinal match.
Senior defensive back Josh Ramseur made his presence felt, deflecting away four passes -- including one momentum-swinging deflection in the end zone -- and swallowing up Woodbridge quarterback Frank Buckley on a key fourth-quarter sack.
