HAYMARKET, VA--It was a Saturday afternoon of firsts in Haymarket this weekend. The weather was wonderful and everyone in attendance got a chance to remember what the sun looks like. The Battlefield Bobcats and Osbourn Park Yellow Jackets faced off for the Northwest Region title and a trip to the state semi finals next weekend, and the game these teams played was nothing short of spectacular.

Battlefield entered with a perfect 11-0 mark, while Osbourn Park started the contest having lost just twice. Earlier in the year Battlefield topped the Yellow Jackets 14-0 and held junior quarterback Dominique Terrell in check. Osbourn Park was coming off a victory over Woodbridge, the other team that had defeated them this year. Battlefield dispatched Franklin one week ago after getting a bye in the expanded playoff format.
