1. Oscar Smith- (3-0) Phil Sims and his Tigers will face their toughest opponent in district this week as they travel to Grassfield.
2. Ocean Lakes - (4-0) The Dolphins showed why they may be the best team in the state after crushing a 2-0 Kempsville team on the road last week. Coach Scotts team is bye this week.
3. Phoebus-(3-0) coach Sexton wasn't happy the way his team played against Churchland two weeks ago. However after his Phantoms took it to Warwick 37-0 last Saturday and now his team is No.24 in the national polls, things are looking good for the defending State Champs.
4. Woodside-(3-0) Woodside will play Warwick to see if their magical season can continue.
5. Lake Taylor-(2-1) Last week the Titans had a bye to rest up. This week they will go on the road and face a Granby team that is struggling right now.
6. Bayside-(3-0) Bayside beat a tough Tallwood team last week and plays an easy Princess Anne team which has yet to make it in the end zone this year, look for them to go 4-0 after Friday night.
7. Hampton-(2-1) The Crabbers will have a big game against No. 8 Denbigh on Thursday night, Mike Smiths team can't afford to have two loses already with Phoebus and Bethel still on the schedule.
8. Denbigh- (3-0) Coach Harris has his Patriots on a roll. Their next test is the big one though to find out if this young Denbigh team is for real as they welcome Hampton to Todd Stadium tomorrow night.
9. Norcom- (3-0) Last week Norcom had a bye week, which allowed them to rest. Look for them to go 4-0 as this face Woodrow Wilson this week.
10. Maury- (3-1) this is a very good football team and if not for the lose to No.4 Woodside the Commodores would still be undefeated.
