MANASSAS, VA - The Osbourn Eagles and Osbourn Park Yellow Jackets met on the gridiron Friday night in a true rivalry game. The game is usually played during the final week of the season, but with Osbourn Park's move to the Cardinal District this game would simply be for bragging rights among the two communities. Both teams entered the ball game coming off wins, with Osbourn Park defeating CD Hylton last week for the first time in school history, while the Eagles took care of Freedom-Woodbridge. Also of note was that both squads entered the grudge match with just one loss on the season. This game was like a classic title fight in boxing with the combatants going toe-toe-for the entire duration of the contest. In the end though it was the Yellow Jackets, behind the play of their junior quarterback, that got the job done and walked off their home field with the win.
