PURCELLVILLE, VA - The Heritage Pride got more than just their first win of the season, their first win as a newly minted AAA team, and their first win against a district opponent. Their Friday night 21-17 victory over the Loudoun Valley Vikings was perhaps the best in their seven year history. Warning: if you eschew hyperbole, read no further, for what follows is a description of an absolutely epic game that will likely lay the foundation for a powerful and exciting new rivalry in Loudoun County high school football.
