OLNEY, MD - Gameday Maryland has been selected as the official voice of Our Lady of Good Counsel sports.
Home games will be broadcasted on the Gameday Radio and TV Network, at no cost, and will be heard and seen on Gameday Maryland's website, www.gamedaymd.com.
Gameday Maryland will be broadcasting home sporting events for Good Counsel throughout the school year including football, basketball, lacrosse, baseball and softball.
"This is a huge step for Gameday Maryland as we aim to be the premier media provider for high school sports in the county", states Cory Hoffman, owner and senior editor of Gameday Maryland.
"This gives fans the opportunity to tune into games from anywhere. In addition, since these broadcasts will be archived on the website, it gives fans as well as players the chance to catch the action again and again"
The first broadcast will be tonight's football game versus Gilman which will be done as a radio broadcast. Video will be incorporated into the broadcast for games starting in October.
Tune in and listen as the Good Counsel Falcons, who were recently ranked #2 in the area by the Washington Post, try for win #3.
