ANNANDALE, VA -- After suffering their first regular season loss in over a year, Oakton sure wanted to come out swinging against #8 Annandale on Friday night.
Yet for Oakton, they not only came out swinging early on, but they delivered a knockout blow as they scored 21 first quarter points all on their first three possessions of the game.
By the time the game was less than 12 minutes old, Oakton found themselves up 21-0 and it proved to be all they needed in knocking off then-unbeaten Annandale as they walked out of Annandale with a 27-14 win.
