GAMEDAY'S MEDIA PARTNERS:

MEDIA AFFILIATES:
Since its inception, Gameday has partnered with some of the Washington DC Metro's most reputable media companies to help enhance the coverage of high school sports. Radio stations, cable television providers, and newspapers are all part of Gameday's affiliate network. Below is a breakdown on who we work with and how you can learn more about our partners.

RADIO:
Since August of 2001, Gameday has been a staple of AM 1200's local sports coverage. Gameday has produced several different radio concepts on WAGE Radio, including a daily program called "The Coaches Corner" that aired for 5 years on the station. In the fall of 2007 and 2008, AM 1200 WAGE picked up the GAME OF THE WEEK on the Gameday Radio Network that aired on Friday nights across Northern Virginia.

In addition to the live games, during the 2008 football season, Gameday produced its popular daily show "Gameday All Access" for WAGE's listening audience. Gameday All Access aired from 12pm-1pm everyday on AM 1200 from August until December.

In 2009, Gameday and WAGE Radio will once again work together to bring coverage of Northern Virginia's biggest games to the airwaves on AM 1200.

Since 2005, Gameday has been working with the Loudoun Independent Newspaper. The Loudoun Independent is mailed to over 67,000 homes each week to all areas of Loudoun County. Gameday's coverage of high school sports is found each week in the Independent's sports section with photos and in-depth articles on area teams and players.

In the fall of 2008, Gameday also began a partnership with ARCOM Publishing, the parent company of the TIMES Newspapers in Northern Virginia. Gameday's popular Power Poll and game previews were featured each week in the Fairfax Times, and also appeared from time to time in the Loudoun Times Mirror.

TELEVISION:
Through the years, Gameday has worked with the two largest cable television providers in the Washington DC Metro Region in Comcast and Verizon Fios.

Our first television program "High School Gameday" aired weekedays on Channel 3 on Comcast from 2005-2006. We then moved our program to ESPN2 on Saturdays at 11:30am with Comcast Spotlight and "The Coaches Corner" aired every week for two years.

In 2007, Gameday aired "The Coaches Corner" on Verizon Fios1 for 13 episodes. In addition to "The Coaches Corner" Gameday also re-aired its popular Gameday Rewind programming with Verizon that showcased the big game from the prior weekend in a 30-minute (NFL Replay) format.

THE VHSL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Since 2007, Gameday has produced the VHSL State Championships for radio online and across the Commonwealth on various AM radio stations. The Gameday Radio Network has been the only statewide radio network to pick up the VHSL Championships in the last two years. Our relationship with the VHSL continues to strengthen and in 2009, the championships will once again be heard on the Gameday Radio Network.
