Edwards Signs With Spiders
The Falcons will look for their all everything quarterback to lead them to a district title before he heads up 64 West to become a Spider

Edwards is probaly the most hard working kid that has came out of York High in a long time. Thats not a knock on the past Falcon athletes, it just shows how much of a gym rat this kid is and thats what coach London loves about him.

York Falcon senior Ben Edwards didn't take long to make a decision to where he wants to play his college ball at. "Ben verbally committed to the University of Richmond on sunday. Coach Mike London is a great coach and so is the whole staff," said Yorks head coach Doug Pereira. Edwards was offered by JMU and Richmond, but the defending D1-AA national champions won the services of the York quarterback after Edwards visited them last weekend. The Falcon star really got hooked by how nice the campus was and Richmonds great academics. Ben will most likely not play under center in college. Look for him to either be in the secondary or line up at wide out. Edwards is the easy favorite for player of the year in the Bay Rivers.
