Pride Squeaks By Raiders On The Diamond 6-5
LEESBURG, VA - Heritage jumped out early 2-0 in the first inning only to have Loudoun County cut the lead in half after 2 complete innings. Loudoun County took the lead in the 3rd on 3 consecutive hits, chasing Heritage starting pitcher Trey Reed. Reed was relieved by Evan McDaniel who pitched 3 2/3 innings while picking up the win. The Pride took the lead back by scoring 4 in the bottom of the 3rd. Those runs were enough for the win and Andy Zarobila came in for the 7th to pick up the save.
