McLister Commits to McDaniel College

LEESBURG, VA - Loudoun County Strong Safety Tim McLister committed to play football for the McDaniel College Green Terror. Located in Westminster MD, McDaniel was looking to upgrade it's defensive backfield to help them get back to the top of the NCAA Centennial Conference where they have been champions several times in the past decade.

Tim was a 3-year varsity starter for the Loudoun County Raiders. In his senior year playing Strong Safety, WR, and returning punts/kickoffs, Tim was a key factor for the Raiders football program gaining their first playoff birth in over 10 seasons. Prior to breaking his ankle in the 5th game of the season vs. Potomac Falls, Tim was one of the Dulles Districts top defensive backs having 3 Interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, 2 forced fumbles. Tim came back in their final "must win" game vs. Heritage with another 5 tackles to help the Raiders seal the playoff birth.

Loudoun County's Head Coach Todd Hill awarded Timmy the first "Raider Strong" award at the conclusion of the season and said "McDaniel is getting a great football player. Timmy is a hard-nosed player whom we are very proud of. He led by example on and off the field. Dedication and commitment are words that best describe him. Timmy always gave maximum effort and was a great leader for our program. Our coaching staff is extremely proud of Timmy's accomplishments and we know he will be successful at McDaniel College.
