McLean Football Players Move On

McLEAN, VA - McLean High School is pleased to announce the following seniors will go on to play football in college next year. This accomplishment is a reflection of their hard work and dedication throughout their four years at McLean High School.
Linebacker CJ Rogers and Defensive End Michael Shipley will play at Emory and Henry College; and Running Back Kyle McColgan will play at Shenandoah University.
CJ Rogers was an all-district selection at Linebacker, and led the Highlanders in tackles during the 2008 campaign. Michael Shipley, was a two-way starter for McLean at Defensive End and Fullback, and voted the team's MVP. Kyle McColgan, faced an injury early in the 2008 season, but returned for the teams remaining five games, having a large impact at Runningback and Wide Receiver. Kyle earned the Highlanders' "Comeback Player" award.
McLean High School wishes all of these young men the best of luck as they move on to play football at the college level.
