CAPE COD, Mass. - William and Mary junior defensive end Adrian Tracy and freshman running back/kickoff returner Jonathan Grimes have been honored with postseason accolades by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association (ECAC). Tracy was selected as an ECAC All-Star, while Grimes was chosen as the league's Rookie of the Year. Earlier this week, both players garnered All-America distinction by The Sports Network and the College Sporting News.

One of the country's top defensive ends, Tracy led the Colonial Athletic Association in sacks per game (0.91) and tackles for a loss (1.41) per game. His sack average ranked tied for sixth nationally, while his TFL average ranked tied for 20th in the country. Additionally, the Sterling, Va., native ranked second in the CAA among defensive linemen in tackles with 6.5 per game. The first-team all-conference honoree posted his best effort of the season in the victory at then-No. 4 New Hampshire when he recorded a career-high 13 tackles, two sacks and three tackles for a loss.

One of the country's top freshmen, Grimes ranked 12th nationally with 162 all-purpose yards per game. Honored as the CAA Offensive Rookie of the Year, Grimes averaged 84.5 ypg rushing and established a W&M freshman rushing record with 929 yards on the ground. In addition to scoring seven rushing touchdowns, the Palmyra, N.J., native also hauled in a pair of touchdown receptions to go with his 39 catches for 314 yards receiving.

Grimes also distinguished himself as an elite kick returner, as he led the conference with 24.5 yards per return en route to earning first-team all-league honors at the position. His longest return of the season came against Villanova when he brought back a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown.

Both Tracy and Grimes were instrumental in the Tribe's success this season, helping the squad post a 7-4 record and a national ranking of 20th.
