BREAKING NEWS: McGrath to Loudoun Valley
Gameday is hearing from multiple sources that Park View assistant coach Danny McGrath has been offered the Loudoun Valley head coaching position.
McGrath would replace departed Viking coach Bruce Sheppard who resigned a few months ago due to family reasons. Park View defensive coordinator Nick Mullins was then hired shortly thereafter, but resigned the same week for family reasons.
McGrath is a Herndon graduate and football standout where he went on to start for Virginia Tech for two years. A 2006 graduate of Virginia Tech, McGrath has spent the last year working as an assistant for Park View's Andy Hill.
