Lewkovich Leads Pride Past Briar Woods 7-6

BRAMBLETON, VA - The Heritage Pride baseball team needed a big win to lift spirits after a tough loss to Broad Run on Thursday night. The Pride have played well as of late, and Friday night's performance against a Briar Woods team that has been competitive all year long, showcased just that. Heritage pitcher John Rogerson pitched 3 innings, giving up 3 runs and 4 hits while striking out 3 before he left the game with an arm injury. Tyler Lewkovich relieved Rogerson and pitched well to keep the Pride out front in a 7-6 win over the Falcons.
Lewkovich finished the night pitching 4 innings, giving up 3 runs and 8 hits. He struck out 3 Falcon hitters.
Heritage will take on Martinsburg, WV Saturday at 10am.....
