Kramer, Delehaba, Power Spartans 8-0
ASHBURN, VA - In a clash of undefeated Dulles District softball teams, number 1 ranked Broad Run scored an 8-0 win over number 6 ranked Loudoun County, in Ashburn, Wednesday night.
The Spartans pounded out 13 hits and benefited from three Raider errors. Ashley Kramer tallied 3 hits and scored 2 runs. Karla Powell added 2 hits , 2 runs, and 2 RBIs for the Spartans.
Also contributing to Broad Runs production: Anna Blessing (2 hits and 3 RBIs); Caitlyn Delahaba (3 hits); Alba Creus (2 runs scored). Delahaba, the Regions top pitcher, limited Loudoun County to one hit, 0 walks, while striking out 15.
