Behr Bears Down On Stuart-Titans Win 10-4



STERLING, VA - Junior Austin Behr made the most of his first varsity start, beating the JEB Stuart Raiders, 10-4. Behr pitched 5 innings of 2 hit ball and yielded 2 unearned runs, and striking out 5, as the Titans improved to 4-2 on the season.

The Titans put together a well rounded attack as 8 players recorded hits, and 7 different players had an RBI. Junior 3B Chris Taylor was a home run away from notching the cycle, with a single, double, and a triple, going 3-4. Juniors Matt Sherrill and Steve Smucker each were 2-3, with Sherrill adding a triple, on the night, and Ryan Skeffington and Jonathan Knight each drove in 2 runs.

The Titans will return to action this Friday night when they open their Dulles District season in South Riding
against the Freedom Eagles. Game time is 6 pm.
