Lady Raiders Roll Over Panthers 88-40


LEESBURG, VA - The Lady Raiders of Loudoun County High School won their 13th game in a row Tuesday night, and improved to 15-2 overall, and 9-0 in Dulles District play. County put up 49 points in the first half and led by as much as 25, going into the locker room at the break, 49-24.

Senior Samantha Akers scored a game high 18 points. Akers also had 6 steals and 7 rebounds. Sophomore Alissa Kain 16 points. Kain added 5 assist and 4 steals of her own, and sophomore Kendra Holmes had her second straight double-double, with 10 points and 11 rebounds, and adding 5 steals. Freshman Brittany Batts finished with 12 points, junior Kerry Sarver had 9 points, 8 assist, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals, while senior Amy Williams chipped in 8 points and 4 steals. It was a great team effort as 10 players scored in the contest.
