Sherando's Barlow Commits To JMU
STEPHENS CITY, VA - Gameday Magazine has learned that Sherando's Brian Barlow has committed to James Madison University. Barlow met with JMU coaches last week and verbally committed this weekend after the Dukes offered him the opportunity to continue his career.
Barlow played both ways for the Warriors and helped Sherando make an appearance in the Division 4 state championship game against Amherst. Barlow had a stellar senior season catching 29 passes for 601 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Barlow was also a standout defensive end on defense, finishing with a team high 8.5 sacks on the season and 2 forced fumbles.
