Raiders Roll To 2 In A Row - Down Titans 14-3

STERLING, VA - The Loudoun County Raiders invaded Titan Stadium Friday night, riding the wave of their first victory in 19 games and took it to the home standing Titans, 14-3.
The Raiders were led by Soph. RB Adam Yesuf, who scored on runs of 27 and 18 yards. Yesuf carried 21 times for 125 yards on the evening. Raider QB Kelly Reimers, in spite of 2 interceptions, made several big plays to sustain drives and to keep the ball out of the hands of the Titans.
The Dominion offense appeared to be out of synch from the very start when on the 3rd play of their first possession, Joe Bushrod stepped in front of a Geoff McCowat pass, and returned it to the Titan 27. Yesuf scored on the next play and the Raiders had a lead they would not relinquish.
The Titans were unable to sustain drives al night long, suffering 4 interceptions, and a strong Raider defense that held Fr. Deandre Reaves to only 65 yards, one of his lowest productions of the season. For the first time this year, the Titans, who have averaged almost 28 points per game, were kept out of the end zone.
Tommy Kowalik recorded Dominion's only score on a 35 yard field goal to avert the shut out.
The Titans hope to end the season on an upbeat note as they travel down Algonkian Parkway to play cross-town rival Potomac Falls High School. The Raiders do battle at home with Heritage next Friday night and will attempt to record their third consecutive victory, and upset the slim play-off hopes for the Pride. Both games are Senior Nights for the home teams, and will kick-off at 7:30 pm.
