FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CHANTILLY, VA - The Westfield High School Sports and Entertainment Marketing classes have called for a "Blackout" for these fall sporting events by all of Bulldog Nation: Football, Field Hockey, and Girls Volleyball.
The first blackout event will be the upcoming football game against the #2 ranked Chantilly Chargers on Thursday, Sept. 20th at 7:00 pm. This is a rematch of the Regional Championship game in which Chantilly won 26-21 in stunning fashion with 14 seconds left in the game.
We are asking all members of the Bulldog community to come to our football game wearing black to show their support. The goal is to fill our stadium with a sea of black. Limited Edition promotional "Blackout" t-shirts will be available for purchase starting Monday, September 17th during all lunches and at the football game against Chantilly. (Subject to availability)
The promotional t-shirt will be used for all "Blackout" events during the 2007-2008 school year.
The cost of the blackout t-shirt is $10 and comes in limited supplies of Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL, and 3XL. All proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt will be donated to the NEW electronic marquee project on behalf of our S/E Marketing classes.

We have also called for a "Blackout" at these additional fall sporting events at Westfield High.
