Galvan, Scott, Le Maitre Lead Pride Past Patritots

LEESBURG, VA - On Tuesday night, the Heritage Pride volleyball team continued their successful season by completing a 3-game sweep of the visiting Park View Patriots 25-18, 25-17, and 25-6. The Pride were led by Rebecca Presser, who registered 24 assists on the night. Presser's assists led to 29 kill shots. Gaby Galvan finished the night with 9 of those kills and fellow teammate Ashley Scott also had a strong night with 6 kills. Emma Le Maitre put together a strong performance with 5 kills and the Pride defense had 3 blocks in the match.
The Pride were led on defense by Megan Beck and Galvan as both girls combined had 21 digs. Scott also had 9 digs to round out a solid all around team performance.
With the win, the Pride moved to 2-0 in the district and 5-1 overall on the season.
