Notre Dame Girls Soccer Grabs #10 Ranking
The Notre Dame Girls Soccer team is currently ranked #10 in the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association Division I poll with a 6-0 record. The Dragons have been led by freshmen midfielder Amber Cook who currently leads the team with 12 goals and 3 assists in the Dragon's six games. The Dragons defense has also been strong, anchored by first year goalkeepers Sarah Larson and Grace Kettering, Notre Dame is averaging 1 goal allowed per contest and holding their opponents to only 6 shots a game.
The Dragons return to action Thursday as the host defending State Champions and #1 ranked Highland. The game is slated for a 3:45 kickoff at Notre Dame.
