Nachajski's 2 goals help Vikings to 2-1 Win in OT
After a 0-0 halftime score, both Loudoun Valley and Heritage came out in the second half
looking for the win. Heritage struck first, getting a goal from Luis
Brun off of a corner kick. The Vikings equalized a minute later after
Mike Nachajski ran onto a cross from Joey Sorrell and tucked it past the
keeper.
The score remained that way unitl the first overtime when
Nachajski struck again, this time placing the ball into the roof of the
net from a Luke Marzaloes throw in. Justin Thomas and Jon Houchens
combined for 4 saves for the Vikings, while Lucas Dauberman had 4 saves
for the Pride.
Valley's Record is not 6-2-0 overall.
