Latka's 3 Run Homerun Propels Vikings In Win
The Loudoun Valley softball team defeated Loudoun county 16 to 0 in 5 innnings yesterday. Brittany Latka got the team off to a fast start with a 3 run homerun in the 1st inning. Allie Bartok scored 4 times with a couple of nice slaps, and Haley Grabner was 2 for 3 scoring 3 times. Sam Wassman batted strong and went 4 for 4 with a double and 5 RBI's. Perrin Raudabaugh was 2 for 3.
Rachel Harvey picked up the win with Caroline Williams getting the save. Caroline ended the game in the
bottom of the fifth inning with a 3 run homerun.
Valley will take the field again Wednesday against Heritage.
