COX Dominates District in Volleyball
Cox High School added Boys and Girls Volleyball District Titles to their list of athletic accomplishments this season on Saturday night. The Boys (20-1) won over First Colonial and the Girl's (22-2) were victorious over Kellam (17-5) to capture the title. Eastern Region quarterfinals begin Tuesday as the Falcon Boys meet Deep Creek and the Girl's face Western Branch.
For the Girls, Kelly Roberti and Kim Maroon were dominant, totalling 22 kills. For the Boys, Charlie Swingle and Harrison Bounds produced 10 blocks together.
