The Eastern Region demands consistent excellent performance to have a chance at making the playoffs. many teams at 8-2 last season didn't make it. Rule changes next year announced by the VHSL will put 8 teams in the initial rounds to give some very good teams a chance. The season will start two weeks before Labor Day and the start of school, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Summer practice wil start August 1.

Be sure to log on tonight for regular scoring updates.
