Cox Falcons Dominate Most Fall Sports

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

The #1 Cox Girls (15-1) defeated #2 Kellam to hold onto first place in the Beach District, just one game behind Ocean Lakes. Kim Maroon, Anna English,Jessica Tiedeman and Morgan Heaton all contributed with outstanding kills, blocking and service.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Cox boys (12-0) also defeated Kellam to remain on top in the Beach District. Nolan Prock and Jack Korte had 13 kills each.

FIELD HOCKEY

The #1 Falcon team dominated Landstown in an 8-0 victory Tuesday. Cox Field Hockey looks to be headed to another state championship.

GOLF

In the first day of the state tournament at Bide-A-Wee in Virginia Beach, Eastern Region Champion Cox Falcons star Brinson Paolini finished 2 under par (70) to lead the Falcons to a four stroke lead over former state champions Deep Run from Richmond. Brett Lascara (77), Jason Chun (73), Kenny Norman (74) all had excellent play to give the Falcons a first day total of 294.

The Final Round begins this morning at Bide-A-Wee.
