Friday Night Football Top Performers 9/8/06

James Wood running back Mike Buchinsky carried the ball 14 times for 96 yards. His 64 yard touchdown run was the games only score and propelled James Wood to a 2-0 record.

The James Wood defense has been simply amazing this year. In two games they have not given up a point all season.

Millbrook running back JJ Casagranda continued to dominant his opponents on the football field. Casagranda carried the ball 26 times for 115 yards and two touchdowns. Millbrook moves to 2-0.

Sherando running back David Hoopengarner led the warriors to a 24-3 victory over the Musselman Appleman. Hoopengarner rushed for 102 yards on 20 carries and scored three touchdowns (12, 1, 2).

Warren County quarterback Nathaniel Jackson burst onto the scene with a quality performance. Jackson rushed for 108 yards on 26 carries and threw for 50 yards. Warren County is 1-0.
