Twyman and Scott lead the Bulldogs to Victory

The Martinsburg Bulldogs pulled off a tough victory over Rockbridge County 27-12. Do not let the score fool you, the Bulldogs did not take the lead until 2:28 in the third quarter. Rockbridge's talented quarterback Marcus Mayo put his team up 12-0 on a 45 yard touchdown pass and a 25 yard touchdown run. The Bulldogs then went on a scoring frenzy with Josh Twyman (19,3) and Marcus Scott (65,25) both scoring twice in the second half. The Bulldog offensive line really stepped up in the second half which allowed the Bulldog running backs to find some room to run. Defensively the Bulldogs played strong with Xavier Peters intercepting Mayo twice and Cameron Shelton recorded an interception as well. Martinsburg is ranked number one in Class AAA in West Virginia.
