Sherando Outlasts Warren County

Sherando 20 Warren County 7

Sherando needed an entire team effort to beat a very talented Warren County football team. Sherando and Warren County were similiar in many aspects entering Friday nights game. Both teams were 3-0 entering the ball game, both teams were very solid along the offensive and defensive line and both teams each posessed playmakers at there quarterback position. Warren County stormed back to take the lead 7-6 after an 11 yard TD pass from Nathaniel Jackson to AJ Jackson. After a key interception Sherando responded with a Ross Metheny 10 yard TD run to take a 12-7 lead into the locker room. In the second half Sherando scored on a 7 yard TD pass from Ross Metheny to tight end Brian Barlow.
