(Winchester, VA) On Friday night, Septrember 29th, the 3-0 James Wood Colonels, will take on the undefeated Millbrook Pioneers.James Wood under the direction of Coach Walter Barr have been impressive in their 3-0 start with wins over Clarke County, Hampshire and Musselman. The Pioneers are led by Coach Reed Prosser who is in his first season coaching football at Millbrook High School.Millbrook has defeated Heritage, Spotswood and Dominion. Expect this game to be a very intense and emotional game with a lot on the line for both programs.

Millbrook has displayed a dominant running attack. They have a solid offensive line and are led by senior Jesse Gigler. RB JJ Casagranda has been very explosive this season averaging 100 plus yards a game
James Wood's defense has been simply dominant this season. The Colonels have recorded two shutouts and take pride in limited opposing runners to very few yards. The defensive group are led by seniors Cary Shannon and JT Painter.
