Kempsville Puts One in the Win Column
With a Freshman Quarterback at the helm, noone expected much from the 0-2 Kempsville Chiefs. But together with Kevin Simmons (All Gameday Team Watch) they defeated First Colonial (1-2) posting their first victory of the season. Freshman Chris Rodgers completed 7/9 for 70 yards and a touchdown. Simmons rushed for over 170 yards and three touchdowns.
Kempsville faces Landstown next week and First Colonial plays Cox (0-2).
