Twyman's 5 TD's Lead Martinsburg To Win

The Martinsburg Bulldogs defeated the Hedgesville Eagles 48-16 Friday at Coburn Field. Both teams came out fired up and ready to play. The Eagles jumped out to an early 6-0 lead on a JD Goins 45 yard interception that he returned for a touchdown. Hedgesville then successfully completed a two point conversion by using a muddle huddle to get the ball to Richard Lane to make the score 8-0. The momentum was clearly on the Eagles side until the Josh Twyman show started. Twyman simply took over the game with his powerful running and his quickness. The talented senior accounted for 32 points on the night. Twyman had touchdown runs of 1,8, 16, 31. Twyman also had a 53 yard interception return for a touchdown and a two point conversion.
